Like many families, Help Protect Culpeper (HPC) is taking a summer break. We feel many of you will be taking vacation and involving yourselves in summer activities.
We will return in the fall with some speakers we hope will interest you. Please let us know if there are speakers you would like us to invite to a future meeting. These individuals could be local, state, federal or immigration interest group representatives.
We would like to thank, once again, the Culpeper American Legion Post for the use of their facility for our meetings. Without them graciously opening their facility to us, we would be in dire straits seeking meeting space.
Also, we would like to thank our former speakers for their time and informative information. Thank you:
Greg Letiecq, President, Help Save Manassas
Chris Yakabouski, former Chairman, Spotsylvania Board of Supervisors
Steve Jenkins, Culpeper Town Councilman
Gary Close, Culpeper Commonwealths Attorney
Joyce Mucci, Federation for American Immigration Reform
Jim Branch. Culpeper County Sheriff
Francine Hill, Department of Homeland Security
Have a great summer!
We, a group of concerned citizens, seek to preserve our community, promote the rule of law, foster public awareness of the negative effects of illegal immigration on our community, and facilitate effective engagement by the citizens in the legislative process on issue that regard illegal immigration.
The purposes of Help Protect Culpeper:
Our nation has upwards of twenty million illegal aliens unlawfully residing in our communities. Many of them have decided to unlawfully reside in Culpeper County and the Town of Culpeper, which burdens our public resources, harms public safety and our quality of life, and undermines our national security. Working with our elected officials, we seek to reduce the number of illegal aliens in Culpeper and preserve the historic character and natural beauty of one of Virginia's finest localities.
If you wish to participate in our efforts to address these problems, we encourage you to become a member. Download a membership application here, fill it out, and mail it to us. Members are accepted at the end of every General Membership meeting.
