A representative of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will give a presentation on the E-Verify system.

E-Verify is an Internet based system operated by DHS in partnership with the Social Security Administration (SSA) that allows participating employers to electronically verify the employment eligibility of their newly hired employees.

It is our hope that officials of the County, Town and local business will attend this meeting. Using this tool in their hiring process will ensure that American jobs are going to American citizens and those who have legal presence for employment in the USA.

This organization welcomes all US citizens and legal residents of the USA as members, regardless of race, religion, or national origin.
